The English version of Fr. Eeso`s Sunday Mass Readings` point for reflection is being translated into Japanese Language weekly. Please confer to the Website`s Japanese version. The translator is a baptized Catholic Japanese in the Diocese of Yokohama who has a grasp of Fr Eeso`s literary style and writing. The same translator has a knowledge of Fr. Eeso`s verbal way of communicating to the parishioners, and somehow of daily life approach in the parish in general as well. The translator tries to give us, if not perfect & precise, a translation as faithful as possible to how and what Fr. Eeso intends to relay (writer`s intention). The translator also finds a role to interpret a style and writing which is just his, maybe a very typical Filipino faith expression that can be possibly present in Fr. Eeso`s writing, to a language translated in the context of the local church of Japan, for other non-English speaking members of the community as well.
