On our third week of reflection about the Bread of Life, may I suggest that this time (today) we challenge ourselves to create a prayer in line with/ that is suitable with our theme. We continue to believe that prayer is our weapon to avoid behaviors and activities contrary to daily sanctification. In here, we clearly identify in our daily living which behaviors and activities are sustaining life in the Holy Spirit and which ones are creating estrangement from the Holy.
Worldly attachments can be one, and can be the major hindrance to deepening of our faith life. Worldly activities, no matter how satisfying they seem to be, are temporary satisfactions, distancing us gradually from Jesus, the Bread of Life. These worldly activities and attachments intercept us from fully understanding Jesus as the Bread of Life, the Living Bread from Heaven.
In our church life/prayer life we have up until today, we do not wish one day we will find ourselves scattered individuals. With many temptations however, we fall into sin! Our Saints had a lot too, but they ended-up worthy of Heaven. So we pray:
"Our Father in Heaven, You are our eternal Guardian. You know what is best for all of us. Through our faith in the life-giving Bread from Heaven you unite us to You. By the sweet embrace of Your Holy Spirit, we can avoid the danger of being far away from You. Always forgive us of our daily sins. Make us good, merciful, and forgiving. All this we implore of You through Jesus Christ, our Lord, the Bread of Life from heaven. Amen".

Sa pamamagitan ng aming pananampalataya sa Tinapay na nagbibigay buhay mula sa Langit ay pinagkakaisa mo kami sa Iyo. Sa aming pag-akap sa Iyong Banal na Espiritu ay makakaiwas kami sa panganib na malayo nang tulayan sa Iyo. Palagi mo kaming hanguin sa araw araw naming kasalanan. Gawin mo kaming mabuti, maawain sa kapwa, at mapagpatawad. Ang lahat ng ito ay iniluluhog namin sa Iyo sa pamamagitan ni Hesukristo, ang Tinapay ng nagbibigay buhay na mula sa langit. Amen."
