Ezekiel 17.22-24/ Ps.92.2+3+4,13+14+15/ 2 Corinthians 5.6-10/ Mark 4.26-34

In my socializing and interacting with people in the church and even in other community groups, associations, groups of school teachers and so on, I sometimes say that it is very difficult to be a member of particular community in which members consider themselves perfect and do not see any necessity for further growth. The fear of living in such a community remains. It's nice to find a community that isn't perfect and is constantly open to growth. I'm afraid to associate with a certain community in which members say that theirs is already a perfect community and see no room for growth, whether in terms of  human relationships,  or in terms of its (community`s) purpose.

Today`s readings points for growth is overflowing. There is a point about planting a shoot on a mountain which becomes a shelter for birds in the future. Jesus in our gospel shares about the parable of the seed that grows so well no matter how small its size is, just like the mustard seed.

In talking about His Kingdom (the Kingdom of God), each member is called to growth, in faith, in humility, and definitely in trusting on Him. We put our faith and trust in Him who has the nurturing power: healing us and transforming our lives. Humility can be another big thing, a calling to really create/reserve a space in our hearts – it is all about truly allotting a space for growth not according to what we just like to, but in accordance to God`s nurturing power. Gear towards blooming where we are all planted!

The letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (2nd reading today), beautifully summarizes God`s call for us today. We are all encouraged to continue to walk by faith and not by sight. Let`s find our growth more in the inside more than physical appearances.
